ANCI Liguria

ANCI Liguria was born in 1988 as regional member of the National

Association of Italian Municipalities, operating from 1901.
The aim of ANCI Liguria and National ANCI is to represent and to
safeguard the Municipalities' interests, lobbying parliament, the
government, Regions, the Italian public sector and European Union
bodies.

ANCI Liguria is partner of 2 important European Programmes:

  • «ALCOTRA» 2014-2020 (between Italy and France)
  • «MARITTIME» 2014-2020 (between Italy and France)

The Secretary – General is member of the task forces working for the writing of the operating Programmes 2014-2020 and for the allocation of European financial resources.

ANCI Liguria is also partner in 3 projects of the « MARITTIME » Programme 2007-2013:

  • «UCAT»
  • «UCAT Network»
  • «Ports»

ANCI Liguria is working in order to participate to other Programmes and Projects.

The role within the Project PRIMES deals with:

Management of the regional network of Municipalities,
Contacts at regional and national level,
Organization of communication/disseminination/training activities
Network of lawyers skilled in public management and local authorities to provide legal advice and support
